WORLD AYURVEDA FOUNDATION

WAF is a Nation Building Non-Profit Organization. It is a Trust initiated and established by Vijnana Bharati in the year 2011. Vijnana Bharati is a national movement dedicated to the integrated development of Bharat through the intervention of science, engineering and technology.

Vijnana Bharati has won two national awards for popularizing science and technology in the year 2006 from Dr Manmohan Singh, from the former Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and in the year 2007 from Mr. Kapil Sibal, the former Hon’ble Minister for Science and Technology, Government of India.

World Ayurveda Foundation as a part of this larger intellectual Swadeshi Science movement is intended for propagation of Ayurveda as a Health Care system globally. The torch bearers behind this initiative are eminent Scientists, Academicians, Policy Makers and Social Workers. WAF was launched with an aim to tap the real potential of Ayurveda and other AYUSH systems, practice, science and trade across the globe. Imparting preventive, promotive and holistic Health Care to people all over the world is the icon that WAF reflects.

The core principles of WAF are to propagate, encourage & integrate Ayurveda with modern science and spirituality globally. With its rich cultural competency and spirit of ‘Swadeshi Science’ WAF accomplishes all its goals with a zeal to gift the world with holistic and scientific Ayurvedic wellness.

WAF is involved in extensive research works, documentation and Health Care programmes via Camps, Clinics & Sanatoriums. It also organises study groups, seminars & exhibitions with a lot more knowledge initiatives in different parts within the country and across the globe.
